Conotoxin was originally a series of highly active peptide secreted by the venom tube of the marine gastropod mollusc Conus and the venom glands on the inner wall of the venom sac. Conotoxin is obtained through neuropharmacological design and biological simulation of natural conotoxin. As a regulator of neuromuscular conduction, it selectively blocks the muscle-type sodium ion valve channel, relaxes striated muscles, and provides rapid and immediate anti-wrinkle effects. In addition, Conotoxin can retain a certain degree of neuromuscular current conduction in the muscles, thereby providing effective muscle relaxation, but not completely stiff and paralyzed, resulting in a natural wrinkle-relieving effect.
