What is the application field of water soluble menthol?

As an additive, water-soluble menthol is mainly used in cavity health products, medicine, skin care cosmetics, air freshener, tobacco and other fields. At the same time, menthol is widely used in food and beverage industry because of its cooling activity.

What are the advantages of water soluble menthol?

Three analytical methods, gas chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry and polarizing microscope, were used to analyze the formation of pure cyclodextrin inclusion complex of Mentha haplocalyx. Menthol cyclodextrin inclusion complex is produced after the inclusion of menthol with cyclodextrin. This inclusion complex is widely used for solubilization of insoluble drugs and improves the stability of drugs. It greatly overcomes the shortcomings of menthol which is easy to volatilize and sublimate. It has low solubility in water and poor absorption, and retains its original functions - it has the functions of dispersing wind and heat, clearing head and head, promoting pharynx and penetrating rash. Its toxic and side effects are very rare. It can be taken orally or externally, and is widely used in clinic.
