Most magnesium supplements are chelated, and L-threonine magnesium is no exception. Chelation simply means that a magnesium molecule binds to another molecule. Chelation can improve the stability, absorbability and bioavailability of magnesium supplements. Magnesium L-threonine is the latest magnesium chelate. It was developed by a team Of neuroscientists at the Massachusetts Institute Of Technology and Tsinghua University in Beijing, who combined magnesium with L-threonine, a vitamin C metabolite. There is no reason to worry that magnesium L-threonine is not natural.
