Low temperature reaction is a common type of reaction in the field of pharmaceutical and chemical industry, and cryogenic reactions below -40 °C, especially below -60 °C, usually have to be completed by liquid nitrogen.
The most common method of temperature control of the reactor is to
pass liquid nitrogen directly into the jacket or inner coil of the reactor,
and many pharmaceutical and chemical enterprises have adopted this
direct and effective temperature control method.
Liquid nitrogen is cooled directly through the coil, which is limited by
the heat exchange area and heat exchange structure of the coil, so that
the use efficiency of liquid nitrogen in the kettle is extremely low, and
the consumption of liquid nitrogen is large. It will also cause problems
such as low local reaction temperature, uneven temperature distribution,
difficult to control temperature control accuracy, and low yield.
