FiberLight technical data
Miniature UV/VIS light sources for mobile spectroscopy and in-line process analysis
FiberLight is a very compact light source for use in the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared spectral ranges (from 200 nm to 1100 nm). At its core, FiberLight is an electrodeless radio-frequency induction deuterium lamp or wire source.
Tiny lights open up the ultraviolet spectrum for portable battery-powered instruments. Examples of applications include organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, agriculture, environmental and life sciences for on-site analysis and diagnostics. Another application area is small instruments for on-line process analysis. FiberLight is a complete UV/visible light source. It consists of a lamp unit, a deuterium lamp and a tungsten lamp in a light transmission array, a shutter and a light consumption with SMA fiber connection. In addition, there is an optional version without fiber optic connectors for directly illuminating the measurement pool. All components are mounted on a circuit board and externally controlled via a T-signal. FiberLight operates on A 12Vdc/0.6A power supply
