This tool used for packing medium-pressure chromatography columns is like a perfect assistant for packing chromedia. With just a simple squeeze of the handle, the piston is securely fitted into the column tube. This tool can be used in lab for packing your own media or even for small-scale production with pre-packed columns.
Instructions for using the column packing tool:
Place the column tube into the sleeve and insert the sleeve into the circular hole of the base;
Position the piston into the sleeve, at the upper end of the column tube;
Squeeze the handle to push down the piston into the column tube;
Remove the sleeve from the circular hole in the base and take it out of the column tube.
